Claimant\u2019s Lawyer Alleges Change in Agreement After $2.1 Million Payment in Jordan Wike Land Dispute<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The lawyer representing the claimant in a joint venture dispute involving Jordan Nyesom-Wike, son of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has alleged that the terms of the agreement took a different turn after his client paid $2.1 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the claimant\u2019s lawyer, the parties entered into a joint venture agreement for a property development project involving two parcels of land measuring 1.5 hectares in Guzape and 1.7 hectares in Katampe, Abuja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the alleged agreement, the claimant was to contribute $4.2 million towards the project, while Jordan Wike was responsible for providing the land on which houses would be constructed for sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lawyer stated that the parties agreed to share the proceeds from the project, with the claimant entitled to 60 per cent and Jordan Wike to receive 40 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the claimant reportedly paid $2.1 million to Jordan Wike as part payment of the agreed financial contribution, which the lawyer said was acknowledged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lawyer alleged that the situation changed after the payment was made, resulting in the dispute between the parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAfter collecting this money, the story became entirely different,\u201d<\/strong> the claimant\u2019s lawyer reportedly stated while explaining his client\u2019s position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The case has reportedly been adjourned until December for further proceedings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
