The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and leader of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola, has charged party members to intensify their mobilisation efforts and secure victory for the APC governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, in the August 15 election.

Oyetola gave the charge on Wednesday at Inisa, Odo-Otin Local Government Area, while addressing party leaders, stakeholders and supporters during a campaign engagement ahead of the poll.

He promised that an Oyebamiji-led government would pursue balanced development across the state, with particular attention to road infrastructure, education and primary healthcare.

Oyetola said government projects and essential services should be distributed equitably across all communities, regardless of their location.

“We must ensure that every part of Osun State benefits from government projects and development. Our people deserve good roads, quality education and accessible healthcare,” he said.

The former governor also urged APC supporters to remain united and actively participate in the electoral process, warning against vote manipulation and other forms of electoral malpractice.

He said the party’s mobilisation efforts would only be meaningful if they translated into votes for Oyebamiji on election day.

“Our support must translate into votes on Saturday. We must come out in large numbers and ensure that our votes count,” Oyetola stated.

The APC leader also acknowledged the backing given to Oyebamiji by former governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Shuaib Oyedokun and other political leaders in Odo-Otin.

Oyetola expressed confidence in the APC’s chances, saying dissatisfaction with the performance of the incumbent administration could work in the party’s favour.

The meeting was attended by APC leaders, stakeholders and supporters from across the local government.
