The overall best graduating student of Lagos State University (LASU) for the 2025/2026 academic session, Adebanjo Samuel Oluolamide, has received a N10 million cash prize for his outstanding academic performance.

Oluolamide, a graduate of the Department of Aerospace Engineering, recorded a cumulative grade point average of 4.97 to graduate with First-Class Honours.

The cash prize was presented to him by the Sunbeth Excellence Partnership Programme (SEPP) during LASU’s 29th and 30th combined convocation held on Monday at the Olatunji Bello Auditorium, Epe Campus.

According to SEPP, the award was given in recognition of Oluolamide’s academic excellence and forms part of its initiative to encourage outstanding academic performance and innovation among students.

The recognition adds to the achievements of Oluolamide, who emerged as the overall best graduating student of the university for the academic session.
