Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has approved a one-time entertainment donation for traditional rulers, family heads, village heads, clan heads, and socio-cultural organizations across the state.
Under the approved package, Family Heads will receive N20 million, Village Heads N30 million, Clan Heads N25 million, while Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio, Ati Annang, Afi Iwad Ekid, and Usulap Oro will each receive N5 million.
The governor also approved N2 million each for the wives of Paramount Rulers and N5 million each for Paramount Rulers.
Governor Eno directed the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mkpisong Frank Archibong to ensure that the funds are disbursed on or before Monday, September 28, 2026.
