Dapper Live & Artists has secured a Guinness World Record for staging the largest orchestra ever assembled for an Afrobeats concert, following a groundbreaking performance featuring 85 musicians.

Guinness World Records announced the achievement on Tuesday, confirming that the record was set during “Trench Symphony: The Dapper Live Experience,” held at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos on December 16, 2025.

In a statement shared on its official social media platforms, Guinness World Records said the performance brought together an 85-member orchestra, led by a conductor and supported by a lead singer, choir, and dancers in a coordinated live orchestral interpretation of Afrobeats.

The organisation described the concert as a demonstration of how Afrobeats and orchestral music can be successfully fused in a large-scale live production.

The event featured performances by King Saheed Osupa, KS1 Malaika, T.I Blaze, Rybeena, Bhadboi OML, Kashcoming, TML Vibez, Lasmid, Heis Cazulee, and Dwillsharmony.
Before the official recognition, Dapper Live & Artists had announced that its record attempt had been reviewed and verified by Guinness World Records.

Organisers said the concert combined Afrobeats, Fuji, and orchestral music in a bid to push creative boundaries and deliver a historic performance.

Dapper Live & Artists is linked to Nigerian music executive Damilola Akinwunmi, popularly known as Dapper.

The recognition marks another milestone for Nigeria’s entertainment industry, highlighting the growing global appeal and creative evolution of Afrobeats.
