The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has commenced an internal disciplinary process following allegations of sexual misconduct against its former National Teens President, Adefolarin Fowosere, popularly known as Pastor Ade Fire.
Fowosere, 22, previously served as the lead pastor of RCCG The Revival House, a congregation focused on teenagers and young adults, and was actively involved in the church’s teens ministry.
The allegations, which recently surfaced on social media platforms including X and TikTok, accuse him of sexual misconduct, abuse of pastoral authority, and the exploitation of multiple women.
When contacted for comments, Fowosere requested that questions be sent via text message but did not respond to the allegations.
A man who identified himself as Fowosere’s media spokesperson, Daniel, confirmed that the church had initiated an internal review of the matter.
According to him, RCCG authorities have been handling the case through the appropriate church channels and had instructed Fowosere not to make any public statements while the investigation is ongoing.
“The church is aware of the allegations, and the matter is being handled by the appropriate authorities at the Redeemed camp. Ade Fire has been reporting to Mummy GO’s office for about one or two weeks, even before the issue gained attention on social media. Every necessary unit is involved, and we should allow the process to establish the facts,” the spokesperson said.
As of the time of filing this report, RCCG had not issued an official public statement on the allegations.
Several women have made allegations against Fowosere on social media, claiming he abused his position as a spiritual leader to engage in inappropriate relationships and other forms of misconduct while they were under his pastoral care.
The claims have generated widespread public reactions on social media.
However, the allegations have not been independently verified, and no law enforcement agency has announced criminal charges against Fowosere.
RCCG internal disciplinary process is expected to determine its official position on the matter.
