Mark Esset Splashes Millions and Vehicles to Long Serving Aides in Uyo

The lawmaker representing the Uyo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has distributed millions in cash alongside two mini buses to his long serving aides and staff in recognition of their loyalty and dedication.
Mark rewards were presented during a breakfast meeting hosted by the federal lawmaker at his residence in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Among the recipients was Superintendent of Police Nsikak Udo, who began serving on Esset’s security detail as a Corporal before rising to the new rank. Udo received a N5 million grant in recognition of his years of service.
Several household and personal staff were also recognized, including laundryman , who received N3 million, and gateman Christian Inyang, who was awarded N2 million.
Additional cash rewards of N5 million each were presented to John Benjamin, Insp.
James Anietimfon, Nsisong Etukudo, Iniobong Slimekere Ekere, Eyo Peter Okon, and Aniekan Peters.
John Nyong received 3 million, while two other aides, Jacob Asuquo and Ubong Charles, were each presented with a mini bus.
Addressing attendees at the meeting, Esset urged his staff to remain committed and diligent, emphasizing that steadfast loyalty and hard work do not go unnoticed in the course of discharging their duties
He noted that the gesture represented a continuation of his broader constituency empowerment initiatives, which include SME grants, agricultural support, and ward level financial distributions across Uyo federal constituency.
A Media Personality, and SSA to Gov. Umo Eno on Media directed a question to Esset in the area of Women Empowerment.
“I was touched and asked my staff to go on a research in all the Four Local Government in Uyo Federal Constituency, where they documented 200  petty traders and all of them were empowered with millions of Naira” – He Said
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Former Youth Council Chairman, Mr. Eyo Peter Okon expressed gratitude to the lawmaker, noting that his long standing association with the rep member began  in 2006 when he  had a meeting with him amd late Smart Ben of blessed memory.

The gesture drew praise from  political leaders in attendance, including Hon. Prince-aniefiok Attah, Member representing Nsit Atai State Constituency, and Hon. Prince Anthony Nyong, Executive Chairman of Nsit Atai Local Government Council, both of whom commended Esset for acknowledging the contributions of his aides.
Hon. Prince-Aniefiok Attah commended the Rep. member while staying that loyalty and service is key.
Attah recalls how he began working with Rt. Hon. Mark Esset and the political relationship has been good from onset.
The event was attended by local government officials, party leaders, political stakeholders, and community supporters.
