A woman has publicly accused her ex-husband of physically abusing her during their marriage, alleging that he bit her multiple times while she was eight months pregnant with their second child.
In a series of emotional posts on social media, she claimed one of the bite wounds was so visible that nurses, family members, friends, and neighbours questioned how a pregnant woman sustained such an injury after she gave birth.
According to her, she initially hid the alleged abuse after her then husband pleaded with her not to reveal what had happened, but said the incidents continued until she eventually left the marriage.
Responding to allegations that she left him for a wealthier man, she denied cheating during the marriage and challenged him to provide evidence if his claims were true.
In her words:
“When people ask me who bite me because it’s very noticeable that it’s a bite, I just start crying because na my ex-husband bite me when I was 8 months pregnant for my second child. I used fresh wound bites deliver. Nurses, my family, friends and neighbours asked me who did this to a pregnant woman. I lied and said I fought with my friend because he begged me not to tell anyone and said he was deeply ashamed. I forgave him, but he later gave me five more bites, making it six before I left his house.”
She added:
“You’re saying I left because I found someone richer, but say the truth. Throughout the marriage, you were abusing me. I had no good food, you denied me sex, I had no money, and I was sleeping on the floor while you and the kids slept on the bed. If I’m lying, bring evidence that I cheated while I was still living with you and let the world judge me.”
