Social media personality King Mitchy has publicly questioned Stella Maris Okafor, the widow of late Nollywood actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, following the announcement that more than ₦7 million had been donated to support her and her family.

During a live session in which the donations were announced, King Mitchy raised concerns about the family’s finances, asking what had become of properties allegedly owned by the late actor.

She claimed that some of Mr Ibu’s houses and landed properties had been sold less than two years after his death and questioned why the family was still appealing to the public for financial assistance.

King Mitchy also referred to allegations made by one of Mr Ibu’s sons, who recently accused the widow of mistreating him and engaging in other alleged fraudulent activities. She invited Stella Maris to respond to the claims.

“It’s not been up to two years since your husband died, yet you people have sold everything he had… and now you’re still begging people for money. What do you have to say about that?” King Mitchy asked during the livestream.
