A woman was reportedly found weak and abandoned at Etagbo Layout in Calabar on Friday after allegedly being raped by three young men around the CUDA area.
According to eyewitness accounts, she was unable to speak when she was found, and hunger was initially suspected.
A concerned resident reportedly bought her bread and a bottle of Sprite, and after eating, she regained enough strength to explain what had happened.
She alleged that three Skolombo boys raped her before abandoning her.
The woman was then taken by the Good Samaritan to the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, where she reportedly received food a.d medication.
However, she was allegedly not admitted because a police report was required.
She was later brought back to Etagbo Layout, where she reportedly spent the night.
