Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has stirred fresh debate after claiming that it is unrealistic for a musician to have N500 million in their bank account solely from music.
According to the singer, many musicians with such huge sums are allegedly involved in money laundering and cartel related businesses.
“It’s not possible for a musician to have N500M in his account.
Most of these musicians are into money laundering and cartel businesses,” Portable said.
Portable’s statement came amid the circulation of a screenshot purportedly showing Nigerian rapper Zlatan’s bank account details.
